After launching the Redmi Note 14 Pro series in China last month, the company is planning to release a toned down version of the standard model– the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G. Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G has surfaced on the FCC certification website, revealing key specs and hinting at an imminent launch. Following its appearance on the IMEI database, the 4G variant’s FCC listing suggests the device is nearing release, with specifications and launch timeline expected to be announced soon, according to the 91mobiles.
According to the FCC listing confirms that the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ pOLED display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution. The display dimensions are same as the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G series, both the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Note 14 Pro+. The display features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The handset will arrive in multiple configurations as per the listing. The phone will be available in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB storage options. The battery capacity of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G is getting a boost to 5,500mAh, surpassing the 5,000mAh battery of its predecessor, the Redmi 13 Pro 4G. But the charging speed specifications are still under wraps.
The Redmi Note 14 Pro, codenamed “Obsidian,” will reportedly utilise a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. This follows the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G’s Dimensity 7300 Ultra and Redmi Note 13 4G’s Helio G99 Ultra. The specific Dimensity model remains unconfirmed, fuelling speculation about the device’s performance capabilities.
The final launch dates of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G are not out yet, but the announcement is speculated to come out soon.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor, while the Pro+ variant runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Both models offer up to 12GB and 16GB of RAM, along with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. Additionally, the devices come pre-installed with Android 14, layered with Xiaomi’s new HyperOS for a more fluid software experience.
Camera enthusiasts will appreciate the dual-SIM devices’ advanced imaging capabilities. The Note 14 Pro features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary camera, supported by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro lens. The Note 14 Pro+, on the other hand, offers a 50-megapixel main camera with Light Fusion technology and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel portrait telephoto camera. Both models house a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Battery life is another highlight, with the Redmi Note 14 Pro packing a 5500mAh battery supported by 45W fast charging, while the Note 14 Pro+ offers a larger 6200mAh battery with 90W fast charging for quick top-ups.
